Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I get Nationwide Credit Recovery started on a few bad accounts I have right now?
A. 1) Photocopy the consumer-debtor or patient information sheet or credit application.
A. 2) Photocopy a descriptive statement or account ledger with amount due circled in red. These two items mailed or faxed will trigger immediate collection action.
Q. How long should I wait before I assign my bad accounts?
A. Every business is different, but 90 days with no payment is time to get tough about how you want the account resolved. Bad checks should be assigned within 1-2 weeks after the bank returns them.
Q. Is there a minimum dollar amount or number of accounts I must send?
A. No! But $50.00 is the recommended lower amount.
Q. How soon after I assign them will you start working my accounts?
A. Immediately upon receipt of your accounts.
Q. How long do you work on accounts?
A. Most are resolved in a few months to two years. Work on some accounts may last for 8 or 9 years.
